Guy, our dearest friend, has been part of our lives for fifty years. Guy helped us buy our first and only house and both our families have remained as constant, loyal friends.
We’ve shared so much. Our kids going to school together. Our long chats on the phone catching up on the little details of our lives. Our trips to each other’s houses when we’ve debated politics and sport together, put the world to rights…and mostly agreed!
Our holidays in France. Guy and Katrina have always been there. And we’ve loved having them by our side. We’ve visited the best French markets, art exhibitions, restaurants and bars together. And carefully inspected the local wineries of course!
Our residing images will be of Guy as the bon viveur with a glass often raised in toast. His rosy cheeks appreciating the cheese and especially the deserts.
And of him tinkling about with screws and brackets mending our broken blinds or tables and, to our puzzlement, loving every minute of it!
Guy has been the warmest and kindest of friends, always generous and welcoming.
Guy you will be forever in our hearts. We raise a large glass for you!
